It’s a fact that all of us women indulge our time taking care of body and hair. Hair is the Crown of Glory to all women. Ok, I admit: some men can be fuzzy-wuzzies about their hair too, or about the lack of it. I used to have long black thick shining hair admired by most of the people I know. I followed all good advices of hairdressers and read carefully hair tips of the magazines. But as time passed by in catching up the day-to-day hectic hours, I forgot, or neglected to take care of my hair. It got damaged, split ends, dry, the black turned into white-brown, the thick became thin and the shine disappeared. The worst that happened was hair loss. I gave up counting of how many hairs I’ve lost. I find them in every corner of my living room, kitchen and bathroom, not to mention my brush. My hair is on the downfall. I’m worried but I did not take any action so far. I know unhealthy diet and stress are valid reasons for hair problems, among others. Another shot in the arm to change some habits that have sneaked in?

Well, only you can change your habits, and I know that trying to keep good ones can be difficult.
Hair gets dry and brittle as we get older if we don't take more care of it, so you need to pay attention to it if you want to keep it nice!
Don't wait too long, though! ;)
apply some hot oil at least once in 3 mos. Over here I don't have someone to help me do taht so I just grab a can of coconut milk and heat it up and cool it down a bit and rub it in my scalp. Also try scrubbing aloe vera in your scalp every morning and let it sit for 15 minutes before taking a shower! My mom started doing that to me when I was young and now i am doing it to my daughter and of course to my scalp.
Sometimes hair can be tough to handle. Mine has always been thick but dry. I love long hair so take the time to keep it somewhat healthy but it could be better.
Taking care of our hair is a bigger job than some people think. Long or short, you still have to work at having healthy hair.

STress does play a big factor and also when you have long hair, when we lose our 100 hair/day ratio, it looks a lot more than it seems. I have the same dilemma right now! sad to say! :)
From what I can see of your picture you are looking real good!
