I’m a delicate person! Don’t get fooled with my appearance that looks strong. Actually, tiny normal repetitive house chores break my back. It’s very sensitive and fragile. Most demanding job is the laundry, despite living alone is a brilliant thing, it brings me heaps of laundry as anyone else! I have survived 8 years in this way. Struggling with heavy loads during the daytime gave me sleepless nights with so much pain at too many places, that I lost count. However, I’m used to it. It’s sad really when there’s no-one to ask for a rub of ointment to sooth my back, or to carry that heavy Big Shopper Bag, but again, it has become a second nature for me. I have been through a lot of X-Ray’s but fortunately nothing’s found. It all started when I fell 13 steps at school. Lots of people were in shock. Because I felt embarrassed I got up in seconds showing that I was ok, and hurried to my classroom instead of some clinic. Coming home my body was aching and I hardly could move my back. My mother called for a therapist and I felt a bit better. At least I could move my entire body and return to school. As time passed by, I suffered pain at the back. I felt numb and yet so much pain. I asked my sister to step hard on my back so I could sleep. After a couple of months another therapist cured my back pains. I only need to avoid carrying heavy loads. So, this back pain will be with me forever for the rest of my life. I know there will remain sleepless nights because lots of things simply have to be done. I just have to remind myself to avoid wearing high heels, and the easy-does-it approach will get me where I need to be eventually.

I know how you feel about back pain. I have sciatic issues and back spasms, just recently tuesday. I go to a chiropractor once a month or as needed.
I'm not at all sensitive though with my back. I like my massages rough.

I'm so sorry to hear that you suffer from this! I hope that you are able to get relief when you need it.
Having back pain can't be an easy thing to deal with!
This makes me sad for you because I know back pain is one of the most painful ailments you can have. You are strong in spirit and body though-I can tell.
