Lost In Translation?

While I'm too busy to even think of getting my bud on a chair, or my fingers on the keyboard I don't want to shorten you this clip that reminds me of some french speaking guests of last weekend's debut. It shows what you can encounter for being involved with a good willing but not gifted french person. Have fun.

July 19, 2008 showed another blogger from Bisdakplanet who we got the opportunity to meet in person, however not at a very typical meeting place like a restaurant or mall, but at the surprising location of a hospital. It’s Bisdak'st member Darlene who gave birth to a lovely daughter at Cebu Doctors Hospital.

Debut Day

The moment you all might read this, (exept the ones who will be there themselves) I likely am making my way to the other guests of the Bacolod Debut. In a Quiet Fashion: my very simple outfit instructs me to follow this modest way. But I’ll cast a pair of covetous eyes to all those glamorous people. Not to mention to all that mouth-watering display of food. I’ll set my teeth in them I’m sure (no, not into those guests, silly). Frankly, I’m less sure what to expect of my own performance there. I’m supposed to –do- something as well... I’ll keep you posted...

Fling An Old Shoe

Still perspiring after done the first step of a scrupulous cleaning up, falling on my Bud with a Thud and kicking off my slippers, my eyes noticed the July Guinness World Record of the National Geographic Kids magazine. They managed to tie more than 10,500 sneakers together by the shoelaces to create a whopping 1.65 miles long chain of shoes. (I tried to imagine this rather exotic line all the way to downtown..). The magazine’s record was to encourage recycling. And those 1.65 miles of sneakers will go to Nike’s Reuse-a-Shoe program to get recycled into material for basketball courts and other athletic surfaces. People like the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team and Cameron Diaz donated sneakers too. Mmm.. I wonder… could I string some of my rubbish together to get recycled as well, into…let’s say: those cute sneakers I saw at SM? Shoo this daydream Glor… let’s get cracking again!

I love modelling----falling down

..Yesterday as I said that don't have the energy to hang around in my blog rather have full energy viewing the Youtube clip. I was just bored so I need something to make me laugh and I found this one. I did not laugh at first because I was focused on the clothes as I am fond for that but later on I....you better watch it so not only me will fart..ahahah

Save Your Picnic

...Playing save my meals then!:P Let's play again...:)

The Rule:

Drag and drop the flies towards the frog and drag and drop the bugs towards the spider. Don't let these creepy-crawlies get to the picnic lunch!

Cute Joke

...I badly need a smile! I got it with this cute joke:P

Read it:

Grandpa and Grandma always got very excited when they recalled the old days they were together.

They made a decision, one day to make it "yesterday once more".

They made a date on the riverbank they used to go when they were young.

The next day, Grandpa got up 6 a.m. in the morning, dashed to the bank, picked up a big bunch of wild flowers before sunrise, waited there for his sweetheart to come. But grandpa ended in disappointment grandma never showed up even after sunset.

Grandpa went home in such anger. He opened the door, seeing grandma lying on the sofa with her pillow. He threw the flowers on the floor and questioned: "Why didn't you come to our date?"

Grandma hid her head in the pillow and replied shyly: "Mom didn't allow me to go..."

...it made me loved anyway!:)

Vulnerable

Why are some people so vain? I’m very vulnerable in tricky, complicated situations. Gosh, what have I done? Am I to blame? What on earth were they murmuring? About my innocent soul?:( Almighty, please enlighten me as well as the other way around. I might not have the right to claim, how good I’m to them. Sorry for now, I badly need to rest in this time of pleasing anyone.:(

Pink birthday gurl

Last July 14, 2008 was the natal day of my beloved friend Ylan.. Sorry I’m not in the right position to disclose her age.. hehe, but you’re allowed to have a wild guess..:P The day before her birthday was celebrated with her family at Portofino and I was glad to have been invited.. very overwhelming! Ok, the celebration itself was full of astonishment, excitement and surprises. It was exclusively held at the Lighthouse Restaurant for her close friends. The following day, a dinner with her officemates at Neo-Neo. It was a blast celebration with lovely Ylan. There was one common wish we exchanged: letting go the color of PINK but you can't get rid off that because that makes her life colorful.. so PINK is her life not the guy..lol

Wheels of Salvation

...Games aren't strictly for kids only, but there are for Adults too, naturally..So lets unwind our mind for now by starting one of them..

iPhone pointers

One of the reasons I am not updated with cell phones is because every now and then there are too many new launches of them. But the true essence of a cell phone for me is txt messages and calls, the very basic communication. Other features of the phone add attraction but as long as it’s communication it’s at its best. Iphone, from the day it was launched in the market, seems to have stirred the desire of people who love to own it. But despite the nice wannahave Iphone there are still disadvantages. Before planning of buying take these pointers of valuable information: with Iphone

The cost - it'll cost you an extra $160 or so over the next two years vs. the original iPhone. Worth it? It's debatable, but I can't blame people for not being happy about the service price hike.

The camera - Forbes notes that there's still no flash and no video recording on the device. I'll add the camera resolution: We're going to see 8 megapixel cell phone cameras in the U.S. this year, and the iPhone is still stuck with a puny 2MP model? Many early rumors also had expected the iPhone 3G to include a forward-facing camera for videoconferencing use. Naturally that didn't happen either.

The battery - Not replaceable. Again. On the other hand, this shouldn't be a surprise considering that Apple is now actually making laptops without replaceable batteries, too.

No MMS - Again, the lack thereof. It just makes no sense. Apple is basically right that you don't need MMS to send pictures on a device that has a full email client, but the problem comes when users of other phones send you a photo via MMS: You simply can't view it on the iPhone. It's a ludicrous limitation on what should be the most advanced phone on the planet.

I'll add a few of my own complaints to Caulfield's list:

No live TV - That YouTube feature was fun last year, but now it's grown tiresome and old. Live TV is coming to all manner of handsets now as part of the standard data plan, but one gets the impression that Apple keeps it off the iPhone just so it can sell you TV episodes at $1.99 a pop instead.

No 32GB option - 8GB feels pathetically small in 2008. 16GB is really barely passable now. 32GB USB thumbdrives have been on the market since 2006, as cheaply as $140. I'm sure Apple will launch a 32GB model in the near future (another $100, please!), probably around Christmas, in the hopes that you'll buy a third phone.

22nd street

Almost 2 weeks ago Ging and I met in SM. There after roaming around SM, we were blank where to go to: still early.. Ging suggested to see a comedy bar in 22nd street, it’s near Mango Avenue but I’d never been to that place. She retorted how enjoyable that place was, and I was curious enough to get ourselves in there. Yes, it’s all true: the burden, problems, loneliness and sadness will definitely vanish hearing all those gays sprouting goodies words.. heheh. I was told to come back again.. hehe. If you’re in need to relieve the heavy knots in your mind then I suggest to spare a moment in 22nd street..

3 days absent

A 3 years old personal computer is bound for getting trouble with the spare parts, and I got it 3 days ago. I know that Pc is my life and can’t live without it. Thanks to my reliable technician who got it perfectly repaired. I wish I won’t encounter another setback yet, I couldn’t afford any replacement. For a few days I render my absent on my blog here and have resumed just this hour =)

7 Facts about Me

Another round of tag by Maybel.:) Thanks dear!:)

Here are the rules:

A. List these rules on your blog.
B. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog.
C. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
You’ll have to read on for my 7 facts and see who I tagged.

This is a tough job. To summarize the facts of myself.. because it won’t fit in just 7 points but more..heheh. But let me check then:

1. I’m a lousy-serious-boring person. Even one person notices how a boring companion I am. Most of my friends, colleagues and family advise me to laugh-smile once in a while. I’m a lousy tour guide.:( don’t ask me direction you will definitely get lost!! You can imagine now..hehe

2. Most people have the wrong conception that I’m a vagabond or laagan (I don’t know the English term for that) that I’m always out clubbing: disco, pubs, any lively place. They can’t trace me in a click of a mouse, all they find is my pics showing that I’ve been away to some place, again. .. they just don’t know that I’m just in my bed or in front of my pc 24/7.Wahahah.. I don’t have a night life. Only if I have an invitation, because I hunger for a good time, I accept the invitation and learn to explore the after midnight pleasures.. lol. Frankly: they can’t find me at night but mostly in day.. I love day outings: exploring nature, beaches, learning different places. The time I’ve posted a few pics about my latest activity that makes people start saying that I’m a vagabond or laagan..heheh

3. I can afford to visit long distance places alone. If I know someone, not necessarily a close friend, I sure go there alone. Just to experience that I’d been to that place. I haven’t experienced going out with a bunch of people, the maximum I was with was 5. But it’s great I enjoy that kind of life. So again I am laagan…hehe

4. I’ve always believed that patience is Virtue but I’m pathetic thinking the idea of waiting. Lol

5. I’m not brilliant in conversation, not witty, bubbly and don’t express passion to anyone. I’m afraid to reciprocate appreciation, that they might not like my simple gestures. I’m having a phobia..hehe

6. I haven’t used alcohol, I’m afraid of getting horny if I do or dance like a mad woman on the floor..wahheheh ohhh shame on me!

7. I’m a late bloomer in matters of business and on my way of learning it. I’m still far away from success but my perseverance and faith lead me on.

...I'd like to know some facts of: Ner, Ging, Maricel, Shoshana, Shengy, Gbeth, Debbie

A very Special love

...for my ever favorite young Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo. I adore her on all aspect of her life. It truly amazed to whatever song she sang could project it well. I was one witnessed as she struggled the singing contest in IBC Channel13 way back 2003 from that on it gave her a huge break to be the role model of the youth. I like her much unfortunately I fail to watch every now and then on her shows and concerts. There was one time I get the chance to watched ASAP last June 11 (yes i dated that since that was my first I saw her acted like teenager full of love) and I was completely astonished, kilig at the same time as she sang her theme song the movie A very Special Love with the great Actor John Llyod. Please watch her very innocent love..I felt so young and loved! hehehe I removed my auto music so that everybody can feel the special love of Sarah.lol Watch now..=)
