On March 9, 1964, the world got the Ford Mustang. ‘Born’ in Dearborn, Michigan, the sales got sky rocketed to 1 million in the first 18 months. One could say that the American taste buds that got hooked on baseball and home made apple pie, had tasted a third flavour that would survive the times.
