Different Driving Ways

In this clip a number of different ways of concepts for dashboards and driver’s seats. The seats next to them look pretty comfortable to me as well, and as enjoyable.

Nothing Frantic About Franchise

With the job market still in very low gear, it could be the moment to think of other ways to reach your destination: having a job that pays the bills. Not that these new ways will give fruit instantly, it might take a substantial part of your time and effort. The way of franchise opportunities for instance could be daunting at first, but with some help of well informed people things might click in the right gear eventually. There’s nothing frantic about franchise. And nobody says you have to take the driver’s seat yourself right there. You might be pleased and being helped sitting next to it for some time.

Oranges And Apples

Some images of our global village accompanied by a fruity song. There's no ranking or comparing here.

A Sniff At SEO

That SEO or search engine optimization becomes more and more widely known and accepted by a growing number of people is not a problem to me. Why should it? What makes me feel a bit uneasy, is not having a clue of the price that’s eventually going to be asked. And to be honest, I also have hesitation about the usefulness of rank pay for me. If our world is becoming a global village, then I would appreciate a price tag or at least an indication of the product’s price that I might like to buy when walking around its market square.

A Boost With Batteries

Do you feel tired? Feel recharged with this clip. That robot is a real sneak… and I’m not sure if funny kittens can be the outcome of such an adventure. If my batteries get nine lives from now on, you won’t hear me complain.

Charming Boots And Rechargeable Batteries

We’ve left behind the days of very heavy and bulky rechargeable batteries and charger. And we’re ever so great full, aren’t we? They got smaller like computers have changed into flimsy but fast machines, almost a fashionable item to carry with you at any time, like power books and smart phones. And that’s exactly what I very often do. Yet, and I might seem a hard-to-please-person to you, even that latest generation of batteries and chargers is still hard to fit into my bag. Boots and batteries are still not the best imaginable combination. A universal socket would be welcomed too. Thanks in advance, dear manufacturers.

No Worries, Loads Of water

Some weight on shoulders here. Some dress codes as well. But, hey: don't worry, babe!

Getting In Gear

As a real Beach Bum I’m totally equipped to travel light. And as far as I know my feet won’t ever bring me much higher than the local mountains and park. That doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate and admire people who got a pretty load on the shoulders but walk into a new adventure with a whistle. And keep smiling. To me, to read in Backpacker Magazine Gear Guide 2011 makes the admiration only bigger. The sky seems the limit for them. But, I’ll stick to a beach bag, if you don’t mind.

A Few Icons That Infuse

A clip with more than a handful of icons. Hard to overlook: a vibrant coloured Rolls with an equal colourful and well known owner, icon of his time, who sings about a third icon of any time; diamonds. At the end there’s a fourth one coming in the picture... a French cast iron lady.

Eccentric But Encased Icons

Some icons of our time are easier recognized than others. One doesn’t need to be a millionaire to spot the winged angel of a Rolls, for instance. And one doesn’t need the eyes and nose of a great chef cook for the vibrant coloured, cast and enameled iron of le creuset pans. Perhaps, and that’s the only down side of both cases; one should have powered muscles to throw one’s weight into the scale to open the Rolls’ door or to lift the Creuset pan. But a drive in the first one, and to find a stew on the plate made in the other, remain first class.

A Faucet Folly

Faucets aren’t a child’s play, that was what I had in mind in the previous post. But this baby proves I might be wrong. Then again: just because the plumming has been done very well, he or she, I can’t figure out, is having a splashing good time!

Don’t Flub With Faucets

How easily we think about and misjudge certain luxuries. Let’s take bathroom faucets for instance. Splashing out money just for the looks might not be the best choice. It’s the hidden part of them that will make you warm or cold, depending on your wish. Or perhaps I should say; depending on the quality of the chosen faucet and its way of installation. The more simple this installation can been done, the better and easier the water will come to you in the required manner. And not just for a day or two, but for many years.

A Long And Roaring Road

Once upon a time...far far away long before yours truly got her first pamper dirty, this commercial was made (in Germany, Europe) and has a car with a roar inside. For some reason I can’t see this driver making use of the extra power under the hood. Despite the almost deserted road.

No Roar Nor Intake

Having been a regular visitor to motor and car races, in a former life so it seems, I’m not that unfamiliar with certain parts that keep it running such as the aem cold air intake. Especially this part I won’t forget because of the extra power and roaring sound it produces. But standing there in mud or sand, I have never realized this very part saves fuel as well. I thought it would be more likely to say it could cost a drop extra. Not that they care about that, here in the Emirates. That makes me surprised a second time; why haven’t I heard any roaring sound here so far?
