Between T-shirts And Thongs

One of the evergreen qualities people are looking for in a partner is ‘having sense of humour’. Problem is, that most of the 6 billion of us think we’re having that quality. I’m not that very sure that we do. If, for instance, I rely on the humour printed on funny t shirts, and even on thongs, a big curling up of my lips isn’t happening often. That might be the shortcoming of my stiff upper lip. I full hearted agree. But I’ll keep on reading whatever catches my eyes anyway. Surely, there must be some laughter to get discovered between all those t-shirts and thongs? To get the belly shakin’?

A Timeless Treat

If there’s a number of regions on this planet with remarkable features, the Dead Sea is one of them. Despite the barren and remote location, roughly between Jordan and Israel, it always has been an area that attracted people for thousands of years. From ancient Egyptians till this very day. For good reasons. The minerals of the water, think of the dead sea salt, the practically absence of pollens and the reduced ultraviolet radiation are very beneficial for people who suffer from diseases such as psoriasis and arthritis. Skin aging is thought to slow down as well. To me, that should come close to a timeless treat.

Flowers That Freeze Me

With great admiration I can stand frozen and stare in front of florist’s shops. And it doesn’t make any difference if the colours hit my eyes like a boomerang, or the opposite; the used tones are very smooth and pleasing. The art of floral arrangements isn’t one I master, but in such moments I envy those fortunate who can. They’re the ones who can work with flowers all day (that itself must be a sheer delight), make creative use of the versatility of flowers and if that’s not enough, they can save lots of money by creating a wonderfully smelling eye-catcher at home.

More Wheels, More Worries

People who know me won’t be surprised to hear a SUV is still on the list of things I would like to have. In general, the local roads here are pretty close to a guaranteed rough ride. To me, a solid reason to be interested in a 4 x 4, or, to keep it a bit more civilized: a SUV. The bright side of having to wait a long time in finding one that suits me best is that lots of information is getting in. Information I wouldn’t have got if I’d decided to buy one a long time ago. Take suv bike rack for instance. Frankly, the amount of different types of suv bike racks is still staggering me. The idea is appealing; having some extra wheels with me. Then again: more wheels, more worries?

The Drift To Detect

You still feel a blush of excitement when you think of your childhood’s treasure hunts? The more you do, the more that it’s likely that you’ll be interested in such a thing as a metal detectors sale. But like with any kind of hunting, you’ll need to know what you’re after. How it looks like. How it behaves. What it takes to find it. A good solid preparation and a set of skilful experienced eyes (and ears) will make your first move a long lasting and perhaps rewarding one. Speaking of reward: you might detect that youthful blush appearing again as well.
